GENERAL INFORMATION

VISA : Tourist visa is normally valid for 120 days extendable by 3 months at the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO). If visa is for stay of more than 180 days, a Registration Certificate and Residential Permit is required to obtained from FRRO within 15 days of arrival. RESERVATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS : All onward or return reservations must be reconfirmed whenever there is a break of journey of 72 hours or more. NO Cancellation charge for International Passengers on account of Cancellation/No Show.

BAGGAGE : Free entitlement : For Economy Class Adult or Child 30 Kgs; Infant : 10 Kgs. For First/Executive Class Adult or Child 40 Kgs.; Infant 10 Kgs.

SECURITY CHECK : All baggage, checked-in as well as hand baggage is subject to Security Check. (Only one piece allowed into the passenger cabin as Hand Baggage)

AIRPORT TAX : Rs. 300.00 when travelling to a neighbouring country and Rs. 500.00 for travel to other countries.

PORT BLAIR ENTRY FEE : Any foreigner visiting Andaman Islands is required to pay an entry fee of US$ 30 or its equivalent in Indian Rupees on arrival at Port Blair.
